My brother jeminipe .your service of songs and funeral was beautiful . Spoke to your mum and I told her I’ll make sure to write a nice long tribute so here it is.We hadn’t seen eachother since I left ccf but we kept in touch and kept showing love, how it’s always been since we met when I joined you in primary. To say we had good times is an understatement. I remember when I first walked into the classroom and throughout the lesson I'd turn to my right and see you at the end of the table just staring at me non stop😂 ,but as soon as break started we all got onto the football pitch and became brothers from there.looking back at it I choose to think that’s why u stared at me so much on my first day because you realised a potential great brotherhood we’d have. All the boys from primary know you were our #1 goalkeeper and I remember a tournament we played at a school summer fair and we got to the final and you scored from a goal kick (till this day I’ll never know why it was disallowed).A funny memory I remember was when u always used to have them chicken and bacon fillers in your sandwiches and anytime I’d ask for one, you’d say no with a smile on your face.Id smile back, because I knew how nice they were and if the roles were reversed I probably wouldn’t give you too😂. I remember the day we both met Anthony Joshua at school and we came back to class showing off to everyone, we thought we were the celebrities. I remember our first day at ccf with Godswill and Nisala and our mums kept lining us up to take photos on each of their phones ,with each other, after school . We just wanted to go home😂.Now how can I talk about you jemz without talking about Liverpool. Every single time we had football club after school you always had to make it known that you support Liverpool. Wether it was by wearing a Liverpool hat, gloves, socks... anything . Your probably the realest Liverpool supporter because them times Liverpool had nothing going for them and you still supported them( I know you’d argue with me saying that😂). As funny as this is ,it’s serves as a reminder for your loyalty not just for your team but to your family and friends despite any circumstances . You were everyone’s biggest supporter .You were also a musician and I admired you playing drums and always having to leave the class because you had a drum lessons. It showed someone that knew they had a GOD-given talent and went out to perfect their craft which I respected and learn from . All these memories I have, and many more emphasise the love and respect we had for each other. As well as everything else you’ve done which I’m grateful for, I can’t finish this without saying thank you for one thing especially . When my little cousin joined ccf I’d left by then and all I asked was you look out for him if he ever needed help. You went far and beyond that. From giving him some of your munch when he forgot his lunch money to calling him to come kick ball with your year, touring him around the school and even taking your own time to juss chat with him when you see him. That showed me what loyalty meant to you in terms of our brotherhood. I will try my utmost best to build a friendship and help your younger brothers the way you helped my cousin so that they grow to be the respectful ,GOD-fearing, strong and successful brothers you would want them to be. Not because I owe you or anything like that but because that’s what our brotherhood means to me.I got them brother ,that’s for life. Its inspiring that everyone has different experiences with you at different times but still sing the same praises about you because it shows the honesty and humility you carried within yourself to never change and remain the way GOD made you to be. For that I say thank you to your parents for raising you like that because you have inspired us all despite who we were to you and how we knew you. I pray for peace and guidance for your family. You supported every thing I ever had going for me and so did I for you, here it is my brother. Big love and respect for eternity. -Emmanuel
